D'Prophets United Staters Voices
"Dear United Staters: It's Time We Had a Real Talk About Who You Are"
If you’re from the United States, you’ve probably been taught since birth that you’re “American.”
But here’s the real question: Are you American because you live on the continent, or are you American because you live in the United States of America?
Because there’s a difference, and the truth is, you’ve been miseducated!
You've Been Miseducated: Why? "American" Isn't Just You...

Let's Break It Down:
• America is not a country. It’s a continent, actually, two continents: North America and South America.
• So when someone from Colombia, Brazil, Canada, or Mexico calls themselves “American”. They’re totally right!
• Saying “American” to mean only the U.S. erases over 30+ other countries from their continental identity.
So we’re flipping the script and telling the truth!
Say It Loud: Your a United Stater/Stater!
Let’s make this plain:
• A person from the United States = United Stater
• If that’s too long, drop it down to Stater.
Simple. Clear. Inclusive.
We’re not stripping you of your pride... we’re upgrading it!
You’re not less “American”, you’re more honest, more informed, more united as individual country, and more connected to the reality of the Americas.
Want to Keep "American"? Then Change The Country's Name.
Let’s be real: if you want to keep the exclusive right to call yourself “American,” then maybe it’s time to change the country’s name from The United States of America to … America The United States of North America.
This way it doesn't erase the identity of other American Countries and give you another level of American Pride!
We’re all Americans!
Let's Talk Military for a Second...
Ever noticed how the U.S. military refers to the country?
They don’t say “America.”
They say:
“The United States.” (United States Armed Forces)
“Defending the United States citizens.”
“Serving in the United States Military/ Air Force, etc.” (U.S.M)
Why?
Because in moments that matter most, they use our first name the accurate name.
They stand for just for the United States, not the whole continent of America.
So why can’t the rest of us do the same in everyday life?
Umerica/Umerican!
Staters
Umerica, You American!
Umerica! A New Identity for United States Citizens
“Umerica” is a fitting and respectful alternative name for United States citizens. One that acknowledges pride in the country without erasing the rest of the American continents.
• Umerica stands for The United States of America in a more unified and distinct form.
It’s a name born from a desire to embrace pride in “America,” while recognizing that early European emigrants didn’t want to be known as Europeans anymore.
Umerica says: You American!
• Umerican can represent both United American Staters and United States citizens, a name that blends pride with accuracy.
Let’s break down what we’ve learned:
• People from the United States are part of the American continents, not just “America” alone.
• The term “of America” in the country’s name simply refers to its location, not its exclusive identity.
• Therefore, a more accurate term for its people would be Staters or United Staters, citizens of The United States.
• You are an American by continent, but a United Stater by country, and that’s what makes you uniquely American.
• And now, we present a powerful, unifying term: Umerica, a name bold enough to redefine the country’s identity for the world.
Are you Umerican?
